Forbidden Island Board Game
I recently had the opportunity to work with Gamewright to create artwork for a board game called Forbidden Island. I created all the artwork for the game, this includes: the box, play pieces, board tiles, and player cards. The play pieces will be sculpted in China.
The release date for the game will be somewhere around March of 2010. I am looking forward to playing the game when it is out. You can see the teaser trailer for the game on You Tube. Here's the link... Forbidden Island Trailer
These are a series of sketches to one of the board tiles. This board tile was eventually chosen to be the image for the box art.
Here is the box art image. As you can see it is a combination of elements from the sketches above.
